American Airlines Celebrates the Heroic Legacy of Medal of Honor Recipients with a Special Valor Tour Aboard Flagship Valor, Marking the Museum’s Long-Awaited Launch

The tour involved six Medal of Honor recipients, along with special guests, who flew from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) to two key military bases—Fort Cavazos in Texas and Joint Base Andrews in Maryland—before returning to DFW for the highly anticipated museum opening festivities.

During the stops, the Medal of Honor recipients received a hero’s welcome at each base. They participated in a re-enlistment ceremony, engaged with active-duty service members, and shared the values of the Medal of Honor, promoting the official opening of the museum.
