Oakland Airport (OAK) expanded its shopping options this month by welcoming two new stores to Terminal 1: Little Main St. @ OAK and Oakland Duty Free. These new additions mark the third and fourth retail openings as part of the airport’s revitalized retail program. Hudson, one of OAK’s key retail partners, operates both storefronts.

“Passengers flying through OAK’s Terminal 1 now have two new options for their shopping needs,” said Port of Oakland Director of Aviation Craig Simon. “We are proud to continue to showcase Bay Area small businesses in our new retail storefronts and look forward to more openings to come with this program.”

Oakland Duty Free Enhances International Travel Experience

Travelers departing from Gate 1 will now find Oakland Duty Free conveniently located just past the security checkpoint. The store caters to international passengers with a broad selection of top-selling duty-free items, including premium spirits, fragrances, and sweets. It remains open daily, with operating hours that flex to match the airport’s international flight schedule.

Little Main St. @ OAK Celebrates Oakland’s Local Culture

Near Gate 5, Little Main St. @ OAK invites passengers to explore a locally inspired shopping experience. A striking Oakland-themed mural designed by Oaklandish decorates the store’s exterior, setting the tone for what’s inside. Drawing inspiration from Temescal—one of Oakland’s oldest neighborhoods—the store features an evolving lineup of handcrafted local goods. Shoppers can also browse an array of snacks, beverages, travel essentials, electronics, and a broad collection of magazines. The store operates daily from 4:00 AM to 11:30 PM.
