Norse Atlantic on-time performance hit for second month in succession

Norse Atlantic Airways’ on-time performance was “negatively impacted” in March for a second month in succession.
The long-haul low fares airline blamed air traffic control delays and airport congestion for the flight disruption – as it did in February.
Just 73% of the flights departed within 15 minutes of their scheduled departure time, described as being “on par” with March 2024.
This was a marginal improvement on the February performance which saw 70% of flights operating on time.
The number of passengers carried rose 27% year-on-year to reach 108,710 as 374 flights were operated.
A total of 167 flights operated for third parties across the airline’s network and ACMI (aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance)/charter operations compared to 46 in the same month last year.
The airline equaled its highest ever load factor of 95%, representing a 13-percentage point increase from 82% a year earlier.
The load factor of its own scheduled network was 93%, compared to 79% in March 2024.
