iKHASAS Group has allocated RM90 million to expand its flagship hotel in Sepang, driven by increasing demand from both local and international travelers.
The resort-style hotel, which opened its doors around a year ago, currently offers 229 rooms. Previously known as Concorde Inn KLIA, the property is a joint venture between ISY Holdings Sdn Bhd and iKHASAS Group. The partnership, established in 2019, began with an initial RM55 million investment to redevelop and rebrand the hotel.
The official launch of ibis Styles Sepang KLIA in February was a milestone for Malaysia’s hospitality sector. The event was graced by the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, and the Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, among other royal dignitaries.
Syed Yusof expressed optimism about the hotel’s role in enhancing Malaysia’s tourism industry. The property is managed by Accor Group, a global hospitality giant with over 5,700 hotels across more than 110 countries.
