Leonardo Hotels to Open in Mainz

Leonardo Hotels Central Europe is set to add the new Leonardo Mainz to its existing portfolio in the Rhine-Main region. The hotel, which is managed by Gloram Real Estate, is currently undergoing an extensive programme of renovations prior to greeting its first guests from 1 August.
The Leonardo Mainz will boast 217 stylishly conceived rooms and suites created by the renowned interior architect Andreas Neudahm, who is well known for his inimitable design signature. He has taken charge of numerous projects for Leonardo Hotels in the past. Particular highlights include an inviting lobby, a sleek bar, a smart restaurant complete with terrace and the "Kasematten", a further atmospheric bar housed in an impressive vaulted cellar.
The facilities also encompass a generously proportioned health and beauty area featuring a pool, two saunas and a whirlpool. These provide a perfect place in which to unwind after an eventful day. 13 conference rooms with a total capacity of up to 225 square metres can be used in a wide variety of different ways for meetings and other events.
The Leonardo Mainz is situated only a few minutes' walk from the city's historic old quarter. This impressive prime position gives ideal accessibility to sights such as the Citadel of Mainz, to the spectacular remains of the Roman Theatre and to numerous gastronomic offerings and cultural attractions.
Gloram Real Estate is administering the hotel on behalf of a property company run by two family offices.
